Description:
By installing the highly engineered CST 1500 2WD & 4WD Truck, Suburban, Tahoe, & Avalanche lift kit, you will be provided with great durability and factory like ride through such components like our unique one piece sub-frame design w/strut bar supports, supported upper control arm drop mounts, steering drop down w/ heim jointed support linkage's, 4wd differential drop down. The CST system will drop down the factory suspension a true six inches, insuring that factory steering and CV axle angles will remain within factory specifications. For the rear of this 6-8 inch kit we use a 5 1/2" rear coil spacer, panhard lift mount, and extended rear sway bar links. CST recommends that the factory rear shock be used being that this shock does assist the rear coil in holding up the rear of the vehicle. If you choose to replace this shock with an after market shock, the use of an air assist air bag that would be placed in the middle of the rear coil is recommended.
