Have you ever bent the stock weak Suzuki Sidekick/ Geo Tracker idler arm, or even snapped it completely off? After SKY did some pre-running in the Oregon Dunes, they knew there was a need for something better. What SKY did was to take a solid stock 1018 steel, machined to match the stock arm in critical dimensions. Next SKY machine it to fit massive UHMW bushings. UHMW is self lubricating as well to provide years of trouble free service. Then SKY enlarged the shaft itself followed by building a new much stronger mounting bracket. One very beefy idler arm is the result! |
