Description:
Sway-A-Way axles are designed with tough applications in mind. Available in two different grades of aircraft steel, these axle are heat treated and centerless ground to a smooth finish. The end diameters have been maximized to get the most face contact area possible, minimizing wear between the axle and the CV. The spline length has been increased to 21/2"-3" to allow the CV to float on the axle. The center part of the axle is sized to twist like a torsion bar under heavy loads, absorbing a large portion of the shock transmitted from the wheel to the gear box.
