Racing the Total Chaos Nissan truck helped to develop the Nissan long travel suspension line. Total Chaos' HardBody 2wd long travel kit includes 3" extended upper and lower arms that doubles factory wheel travel to 11" while bolting to the factory mounting locations. The strut frame does require some drilling to install and offers skid plate tabs. 4130 chromoly tubular upper a-arms re-use factory ball joints. The lower a-arms are boxed and include internal ribs to strengthen the optional single 2.5 or dual 2.0 lower shock tabs. The lower arms are designed to use and include genuine Nissan 4x4 replaceable lower ball joints that add strength and component longevity. Increase lift by 3.5", add wheel travel and upgrade IFS ride quality when you install this suspension system. Overall track width will increase 6", fiberglass fenders are necessary. Sway A Way torsion bars are required or a coil over conversion is optional. Custom upper shock mounts must be fabricated for this kit. We suggest 8" or 10" travel shocks be installed. For compression clearance, adding a 2-3" body lift is required to clear a 31" tire.
