Description:
Racing the Total Chaos Nissan truck helped develop the Nissan long travel suspension line. The 2wd Frontier X-cab/4 cyl long travel kit cycles 11" of wheel travel, provides bolt-on IFS performance, and offers 3" of lift. The kit is built using 4130 chromoly tubing and cycle’s 11" of wheel travel. The 3" extended upper and lower control a-arms bolt to the factory mounting locations. Fiberglass fenders are necessary with the vehicles track width increasing 6" overall. The strut frame requires some drilling to install and includes skid plate tabs. Replaceable Nissan factory 4wd upper and lower ball joints are included in this suspension package. The lower control arms feature an internal rib to strengthen the optional single 2.5 or dual 2.0 lower shock tabs. Sway A Way torsion bars are necessary or a coil over conversion is optional. We suggest 8" or 10" travel shock lengths be installed. Custom upper shocks mounts must be fabricated with this kit. For compression clearance, adding a 2-3" body lift is required to clear a 31" tire.
