Switch can be wired to turn lights on per state law requirements: Low beams and auxiliary lights, Highbeams and auxiliary lights or auxiliary lights operation only.
This harness is designed to provide your quad H-4 headlight system with consistent battery voltage. Amperage is sourced directly from the battery instead of the headlight switch. This results in brighter headlight beams.

It can also be used to relocate head lamps to a remote location.
