Thanks to a low hanging factory cover loss of gear is a real concern for Sprinter owners, whether from a low hanging obstacle or careless shop tech using the wrong jack point. Van Compass's differential skid plate protects the driveshaft u-joint, cast iron differential center section and lower portion of the thin sheet metal differential cover from being peeled back, and bolts on in minutes with simple hand tools. Gear oil changes can still easily be performed without skid plate removal.
