Off Road Only York Mini On Board Air Kit for Jeep JK

This York Mini On Board Air kit is everything needed to install on the 2007-18 Jeep Wrangler JK. The kit consists of a manifold with full air management, a 150 PSI pressure switch and a Milton M style quick coupler. This kit does not include an air tank, which is perfect to simply fill tires as the smaller the volume being filled the quicker the pressure increase. For applications to provide air for ARBs or other pneumatic devices that require a reservoir, please add the Mini On Board Air tank kit.

The bracket in this kit will place the the york directly in front of the harmonic balancer. The clutch has an adapter that will fit into the harmonic balance like a love-joy connection. The York will be mounted with the body of the compressor forward, towards the radiator.

The York compressor is a 10cfm unit with a wet crankcase. The compressors are shipped dry. Included in the packaging is a bottle with 10 ounces of oil and a syringe to install and service the compressor. There is also a sight glass on the rear of the compressor which allows for quick inspection to ensure there is oil in the unit. 10 ounces of oil with the compressor level should display oil at the middle of the sight glass. This sight glass will be difficult to see with the compressor in position, a mirror will hep in viewing.

A bracket is provided to mount the manifold in the engine compartment near cowl on the driver side, but you can mount the manifold anywhere you wish within the reach of the 6ft Teflon braided 1/2" diameter hose.

A fused harness is provided with a relay for the clutch. A connection to the pressure switch and a single wire to tie into the provided switch, or S-Pod or other 12 volt switching device.

The inlet to the York will tie into the crankcase breather hose near the air box.
