Trail-Gear Universal Heavy Duty Hydro Assist Ram Kit

Trail-Gear's universal application kit features a heavy-duty single-ended hydraulic ram in your choice of 6” or 8” stroke. Trail-Gear's specially designed ram features a 1-1/8” rod for maximum strength and a 2-1/4” diameter bore for maximum steering force. The mounting brackets provided have fitments made from ¼” thick-formed steel. Brackets fit most applications. Trail-Gear's specially formed, easy-to-install brackets make installing Trail-Gear's kit a breeze. Brackets may require additional cutting and/or grinding for some applications. Hardware, #6 JIC hoses, and steering box fittings are included. We recommend a 6” stroke for most Toyota applications and an 8” stroke for Dana applications.

NOTE: Use only standard power steering fluid with this product. The use of ATF fluid, semi-synthetic fluid, or full synthetic fluid is not recommended and will void the warranty. Required additional components: High steer kit, steering box drilled & tapped for hydro assist.
