Summit Machine Large Billet Flex Joints

The Summit Machine Large Flex Joint is one of the most popular sizes of suspension joints used in Jeeps, trucks, and custom applications. The 2-5/8" mounting width is widely considered an industry standard and works with many manufacture’s brackets.

These joints are machined from a solid piece of billet with an 1-1/4"-12 shank, available in left or right hand thread. The Summit Machine joints feature a spherical bearing architecture where an inner ball rides on concave races. The Summit Machine Flex Joint was developed in 2004 and are continually being improved. You will not find a higher quality, better functioning "Cartridge Style" joint than the Summit Machine Flex Joint. These joints meet or exceed expectations in performance, reliability and durability. They are completely rebuildable and all sub-components are available

• Housing is zinc plated after being to aid in rust and corrosion protection.
• Threads are precision machined complying with ANSI standards.
• Races are machined from an engineered plastic complete with grease grooves in the race concavity. These grooves keep grease surrounding the ball and ensure years of trouble free and quiet operation.
• Center pivot ball machined from mild steel with a smooth nickel plating for even wear with races and added rust and corrosion protection.
• Flat washer and machined threaded retaining ring are yellow zinc plated for rust and corrosion protection.
