Trail-Gear 95-04 Toyota Tacoma SAS Kit A

Trail-Gear is proud to be the first in the industry to develop a series of Tacoma SAS Kits for 95-04 Tacomas that are complete, user friendly, and affordable. Trail-Gear has a great respect for the Tacoma, and the Tacoma market, so we have really dedicated ourselves and our resources to developing a full line of Tacoma products and this kit is just one of many you will see released from Trail-Gear in the coming days.

Trail-Gear have included everything you will need to remove your OEM rack and pinion steering and bolt up an IFS box from an 86-95 mini truck or 4Runner. The kit includes frame tubes and frame tube jigs as well as the front spring hanger, so hanging the leaf springs will be a simple as following the step by step, illustrated instructions. The stock front bumper can also be reused with this kit. All gussets and frame supports are included so the Tacoma will be much stronger when you finish with the build than it was from the factory. After installing this kit all that is left to do is pick an axle housing and hang it from the leaf springs.

Note: If you have a 3.4L engine, you may need to replace your radiator. See steps 116-120 of the instructions for more information.

Note: For SAS Kit A Only: With single case applications, a high clearance t-case crossmember is required to prevent interference with the driveline. Rock Defense Tacoma Single T-Case Crossmember, 120198-1-KIT. Additional oil pan clearance may be required. See our Tacoma SAS Oil Pan Kit for more information.

Note: For SAS Kit A, B, and C: You will need the following components to complete your build:

• (2) Toyota Solid Axle Spindles, 140205-1-KIT
• (2) Brass Spindle Bushings, 140105-1-KIT
• (1) Toyota Solid Axle Hubs (Pair), 140448-1-KIT or 140449-1-KIT
• (2) Aisin Locking Hubs or (1) Creeper Flange Kit, 300468-1-KIT or 140134-1-KIT
• (1) Super Metal Hub Stud Kit, 300578-1-KIT
• (1) Super Metal Spindle Stud Kit, 300573-1-KIT
• (12) Front Wheel Studs, 140392-1-KIT
• (12) Toyota Lug Nuts, 140080-1-KIT
• (4) Steering Stop Bolts
• (1) Set of Wheel Spacers may be required with some rims to clear the brake calipers

Note: Front bumpers that mount to factory bumper mounting locations will not work with this kit.  You will need a bumper that mounts to alternate locations, such as the Rock Defense Tacoma Front Bumper.
