Total Chaos 86-95 Toyota 4WD 8" Gen 2 Caddy Kit Weld-On Shock Hoop

The Gen 2 "Caddy" kit was designed to utilize a coil-over shock while retaining the 4wd system, and offers an optional secondary non coil-over or bypass shock to be installed. To aid in the installation of 8" travel 2.5 coil over shocks by King, S-A-W, or Fox (8" travel Fox must use PT# 980-99-246A) on the Gen 2 kit, TC offers this pre-bent weld on upper shock hoop. The main hoop is made of 1.5 diameter .120 wall 4130 chromoly tubing. TC’s hoop incorporates a weld together plated tower that bolts to the top of the factory upper a-arm cross shaft. The tower welds to the main tube and incorporates the primary shock mounts. This plated system is shock brand specific, installing S-A-W shocks will require grinding the tower plates due to S-A-W shocks shorter extended eyehole lengths. Also included in the kit are frame overlay plates, additional triangulating support tubes, secondary shock tabs, reservoir mounts, brake line tabs, and grade 8 hardware.
