At their core, long travel kits are wider upper and lower control arms that extend outward from the vehicle. To ensure your 4WD system remains functional, extended axle shafts that match the width increase are required. For example, a 3.5" long travel kit will need 3.5" extended axle shafts.

TC's 3.5" extended axles are constructed of 4340 heat treated steel and reuse factory Toyota inner and outer CV joints and boots.
